Beloved,
Scrpture: Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20)
The scripture above defines that all you and I need is God. We might think we need money, or connection or healing or deliverance. No. all we need is God. When we get God all other things will follow. Hear what Jesus said seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Matthew 6:33). Perhaps you need to remove your eyes from what you think you need, and focus it on God. You know what? God is able. In your issue and my issue, he is able. Nothing is beyond him. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them (Hebrews 7:25). God is able to save to any degree; no matter how big and how long. He will attend to it and give you the victory.
God’s ability should not be in doubt. His eternal power is clearly understood by what is seen (Romans 1:19-21). He can do exceeding abundantly above everything you can imagine. Remember, Jesus came that we would have, not abundant life but a more abundant life (John 10:10). This means life with much more than you need. This means you and I should not just have money, you should be a blessing to our generation. You and I should not just be healed, we should be dispensers of health. Proverbs 13:17 says ….a faithful ambassador is health. This is the sufficiency level that God expects us to operate in. In fact anything we can think about is far below what God can do in our life. Hallelujah! Our father is an “exceeding abundant” God.
Now let me call your attention to something. The things we expect are not going to come to us just because God is able. This is why the song that says Jehovah has the final say, is not completely correct. God has already had his say concerning your condition (2 Peter 1:3-4). “Whatever say that remains to be said is your say; not God’s”. Remember the woman with the issue of blood? Jesus had no extra say for her to get healed. No not at all. This is why it is according to the power that works in you and I. First, recognize that it did not say the power that works in the pastor. You may attend all sorts of programs and have hands laid on you by all sorts of men of God. That does not translate to breakthrough. It is what happens in you that determine your breakthrough. It is the power that works in you. This means no matter what you hear and where you went to, if you do not receive what is said, nothing would happen. So the time has come for us to seat up and use what we have heard.

Also notice that God’s work is not according to the power in you. It is according to the power that works in you; in other words, the power in you that you put to work. Paul told Timothy to stop crying but instead to stir up the spirit of power, of love and sound mind in him (2 Timothy 1:3-7). The gospel is the power to salvation, but it cannot benefit people unless it is mixed with faith (Hebrews 4:2). To put the power to work means you mix the word (the carrier of God’s power) with faith. You have received the word in church, you need to make out time for it by meditating it; by putting it in your mouth and your thought until faith it stirred up. Then put it to work by speaking it: we having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak (2 Corinthians 4:13)
God is able yes but it is according to the power at work in you.
You shall excel.
